YYYYYYYYYY M C A!!

The YMCA has definitely come along way since I was a kid.

No more are homeless people camped out front, and no more runned downed looking facilities.

We have over 25 locations in the Atlanta area. Most of them new and improved.

The YMCA closest to us opened in 2005. It includes an indoor heated pool, outdoor pool, and mini water park, basketball court, teen center, wellness center, group exercise studio, cycle studio, multi-purpose activity rooms, child care areas, traditional, and family locker rooms, and so much more.

I've already signed the kids up for camps, and since we are members we will be taking full advantage of the pool and everything they have to offer.

bag lady...

I told Ms Ava that she was not allowed to bring her purse to school. She calmly said "Okay mommy". Then while this precious little girl slept in her bed I emptied her back pack in order to prepare it for the next day and look what I found.
Not only the purse but all her worldly possessions. She loves her gum, money and never leaves without her phone.

A Taste of Coca Cola

Saturday we headed downtown to the NEW World of Coca Cola. Vincent and I weren't quite sure if the kids would be bored but took a chance. And I'm so glad we did!!! WE had a blast.

Interesting Fact:

Why a new World of CocaCola? The original World of CocaCola, located at Underground Atlanta from August 1990 to April 7, 2007 was a resounding success. It hosted over 13 million visitors who marveled at the collection of CocaCola artifacts and stories from around the world. And a lot has changed in the last 17 years. Consumers have changed, our marketing has evolved and a lot of new products have launched. The World of CocaCola has changed to reflect The CocaCola Company of today.

The info:

Price: $9 for children, $15 for adults
Things to Do:

First stop the 7ft Coca Cola Polar Bear

Then we enjoyed the new 4-D theatre complete with raining coke and moving scents and dragonflies that poke you in the back.

Then we tasted 60 diff coke products.
Then we headed on a tour of hour coke is made.
Then to the gift shop the kids bought sprite and cherry coke flavored chapstick.
Then we were given classic coke bottles to take home as souvenirs.

Notes: Next door is the GA Aquarium a must see for this summer!!!
