Crafty Tin: Note Cards

I made these for Sandra to keep all her cards in. They have dividers for each Holiday.

The Nest is Growing Up..

Preparing for the first day of school took 2 weeks.

We had to plan outfits, organize supplies, figure out hair, etc...


The biggest transformation was Ms. Allyson.


She decided she didn't want her hair in braids (at least until basketball starts) anymore so we had to come up with a big girl hair *do*


First we had to put in a perm($4.00)..her hair was extremely damaged due to sun and chlorine exposure so we also had to trim the edges.

Then we mositurized it ($2.99)and add a handfull of mouse ($2.99) and wet set it with rollers overnight. ($6.99)

She was all decked in her purple satin head bonnet ($1.99) (thanks Nana for the tip)

Then we blow dried the ends in the morning to get them all straight and I added more oil and "bumped" the ends with my curling iron.


Then we combed it all out (with a brand new wide tooth comb) ($1.49) and added a headband $1.50 (1 of 10 she bought this week)

Sean just needed new sneakers , a plaid top and he was DONE! basically!



He did mentioned he was nervous about his first day but he did great...although he lost his appetite.
